EDUCATION 6.0 & STEMMA LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

A Continental Gathering for Curriculum Sovereignty, Knowledge Equity, and Digital Futures

“The Sixth Era of Learning begins not with a reform—but with a renaissance.”

— Dr Godfrey Gandawa

Across Africa and the Global South, the call for a new education compact is growing louder. One that champions dignity over dependency, design over imitation, and futures built from within.

The Education 6.0 & STEMMA Leadership Summit is the premier convening of ministers, scholars, technologists, creators, and youth who believe that education must do more than inform—it must liberate. Hosted by Springfield Research University, this gathering is not just a summit—it is a declaration of curricular sovereignty, a launchpad for STEMMA intelligence, and a blueprint for digitally empowered, purpose-driven learning systems.

Over three transformative days, delegates will engage in high-level plenaries, curriculum incubator labs, youth innovation leagues, and policy pact ceremonies—shaping the narrative, architecture, and alliances that will define the Sixth Education Era.

This is the table where the future is designed. Welcome to the summit.

Summit Track

Explore the Pathways Driving Education 6.0 and Sovereign Innovation

Curriculum Sovereignty & Policy Innovation

Education 6.0 reclaims the right of nations and communities to design learning that reflects their identity, aspirations, and realities. This track explores policy frameworks and curriculum architectures that center African epistemologies, promote multilingual learning, and empower ministries to legislate educational autonomy in an age of global algorithms. Expect deep dives into curriculum co-creation, legislative readiness, and comparative policy innovation across SADC, AU, and Global South regions.

STEMMA for Human & Planetary Sustainability

In a world confronting climate collapse, health disparities, and ecological degradation, we must educate not just for jobs—but for justice. This track advances STEMMA as a transdisciplinary compass for sustainable development, uniting science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine, and automation to solve both local and planetary challenges. From eco-health curricula to indigenous technologies and regenerative systems design, we explore how education can protect life while empowering learners.

Artificial Intelligence & Automation in Learning Futures

As automation reshapes economies and AI rewrites knowledge flows, this track confronts the urgent question: whose intelligence is being automated—and for whose benefit? We interrogate the ethics, design, and data infrastructures behind intelligent systems in education. Sessions will spotlight Afro-aligned AI governance, intelligent tutoring systems, and the role of robotics and machine learning in classrooms—without surrendering agency to algorithms.

Education Finance & Institutional Innovation

Transformation without funding is rhetoric. This track calls together ministers of finance, institutional heads, and development economists to reimagine how education is funded, scaled, and sustained. It examines new models of blended financing, sovereign digital education economies, and university-led industrialisation. Expect strategic discussions on decentralised funding, impact-based budgeting, and innovation zones powered by public-private alliances.

LIKEMS Architecture in Workforce Development

Leadership. Industry. Knowledge. Entrepreneurship. Manufacturing. Skills. The LIKEMS architecture is a systems map for 21st-century workforce sovereignty. This track explores how to integrate LIKEMS across education pipelines—turning learners into builders, not job-seekers. From maker spaces to leadership studios, innovation leagues to vocational AI labs, it presents a re-engineered model for African productivity and dignity through skills.

SIM: Stemmatize, Industrialise, Modernise

SIM is more than a slogan—it’s a three-part strategy for Africa’s re-industrialisation through education. This track explores how nations can Stemmatize their curricula (infusing STEMMA as foundational), Industrialise their learning-to-labor pipelines, and Modernise systems through AI, digitisation, and cultural innovation. SIM is where youth empowerment, state capability, and sovereign futures converge.
