He is the voice behind the Education 6.0 Declaration, the lead convener of the STEMMA Leadership Summit, and founding editor of the Journal of Curriculum Sovereignty & STEMMA Futures. 🏛️ Government
As former Deputy Minister of Higher & Tertiary Education, Science & Technology Development in Zimbabwe, Dr. Gandawa spearheaded national STEM policies, vocational innovation, and curriculum reform—ensuring alignment between learning systems and industrial priorities.

Throughout his career, he has been a vocal champion of STEM education. His advocacy called for a shift beyond rote curricula towards producing agile researchers and industrial innovators. He actively encouraged private-sector investment in university-based research to complement national efforts.
